KBZ bank employees count kyat currency notes at one of the branches in Yangon, Myanmar. The country is a predominantly cash-based society and people purchase cars and homes with cash. The largest bill denomination is equivalent to ~ USD5, however those bills are rare and 1000 kyat (~USD1) are the most common.
